Park your car, change the plates, repaint it, and bring it out next season. Get satellite GPS tracking (here in North America we have "BoomerangII", and buy a fake snake (you can get one that looks insanely real) and place it under your passenger seat and whenever you park, pull it out and keep it in view inside the car. It'll give would-be theives a second thought about going inside your car.

Another vigilante method would be to spend some $$$ and go to a Marine store, and buy a HUGE foghorn. Alternatively, go to a speaker store and get a small speaker with a high frequency. Hardwire it to your security system so that if the security system is tripped, the foghorn/speaker goes off, painfully piercing the ears of anyone in your car. High volume hurts! The only problem is false alarms, but if you can live with that, and you hate these guys enough, it will be worth it.

Also, you can have an in car camera with a recording location somewhere remote in the car. You can also put a small camera where you usually park the car. Modern microcameras have decent resolution, so you can make out faces.

If all else fails, do it the Italian way. Get an over/under shotty and put it in their mouth and then ask them to steal your car.
I guarantee they won't do it.
I was just havin' some fun.. here's the best tip I can offer.
If you can't avoid it being vandalized might as well protect yourself.
Insure it for as much ca$h money as you can and then LET them steal it. Also, go out and buy a new stereo and laptop... dont install it in the car... when it gets stolen and/or destroyed... claim the stereo & laptop were in the car.

YEAH Carrying on the mafia stereotype that most italians have been trying to shake-off for years now.

+ Italians of the Mobster days actually did that stuff....

these days u just have a bunch of Italian kids living in the past and talking alot. Nobody would actually do it...

how about confronting them . the boss guy . expain to him whats going on and see if you can come to an concluetion ( how ever its spelled ) . you can tell him what happened and why they want your car . i might be wrong but i didnt read here why they want your car . anyway ,runnig or hiding is not the answer ,they would just wait for you to come out and get you then . Now i hope your not joking because this is not funny . take care and be safe

Shelly, you can't obtain a personalised rego plate address through the mail, so they can't find out where you live. You'll be fine.

"down here in canada" .. dude we are about as low down you can get on the world

Careful about the "letting" them steal it.. or bash it up. The insurance company might call it terrorism

As for my self im taking up kick boxing and buying a paintball gun (looks like the real thing, dont need a licence, hurts wen you put hard objects dwn it).

But do you want to add a bad memory of your car all stripped down and in pieces ? Sorry if it sounds harsh. But I'd rather cut my loses that's all.
