Then why did you get a BMW? I guess what I'm wondering is why you got a BMW if you don't like the look (as apparently you don't by this statement). Why not get another car, or a kit car for that matter...something VERY VERY FEW people have and then customize that?

t-spec ... this is the kinda guy i was referring too.

Again, props on the work you're doing. I didn't see any engine information, anything you can tell us now?

-Prince
First of all, I love the look of BMW's old and new

2nd I was being sarcastic with my "GOOD" comment because I DONT CARE WHAT YOU THINK!

3rd I guess many people on this board don't like the look of BMW's either because they swap parts for Hamman, Reiger, AC shnitzer, just because my GERMAN built front end does'nt fit into the big 3 its not accepted, Oh well I like it!

What does it matter what car I mod? I chose the best car out there (BMW) to mod, into something very, very, rare in fact something noone will have.

Finally If you would read the WHOLE thread you would find my engine and driveline info.

What's your problem tough guy?

I'm trying to be very objective here. I'm not saying, "Your car sucks." or "God that makes me puke." I'm stating an opinion as to the over all presence of the car. I think it's excellent quality work. There's no odd waving or gaps in the work. It's quality work. However...

You can be VERY unique and still keep your bimmer looking like a bimmer. Look at Randy Sparre, Ryan Castros, Sean Behm (BEHMMER?), John Sibel, and the likes. They look like BMWs still. They all look very classy, yet sporty, and still like a BMW in the end.

I just happen to think that T's car looks more like an odd Honda Civic front than it does a BMW front. The grill. The two twin-fogs. The splitter supports. I think JDM. Not Teutonic.

You are aware that Sparre's car had Honda paint and Honda sideskirts right? Does that take away anything from it? no.

Question: What do Randy Sparre, Ryan Castro, Sean Behm (BEHMMER?), John Sibel, and T-Spec have in common?

Answer: They all started SOMEWHERE. his car is a work in progress, when it is completed... I honestly think it will be synonymous with the other BMW legends you listed.

PS. I dont see the hype in Behmers car...

Just joined too

I just joined DTM power as well, since when do you not have to pay? Caus way bak when, i used to grace those pages till you had to sponsor, and i said screw it. Anyways, i do not like it on there either, way to many ppl, and way to many rich snobs, also it is hard to keep track of things. Here, it is more like a community. Also, i do not like being a "dumbiest crashies member" i like "second gear" way better. Anyways, thanks to all the moderators, gamite, bliss, empowered, and all the rest for a great forum.

It just took forever to do. Its a nice car just all the waiting gathered hype behind it and made it seem more than it is.

Sooner or later... Everybody comes around

I think its funny that this car gets all sorts of respect (see pic) but T-Specs doesnt. I think Tom may have just posted a bad angle/bad quality pic of his car.

...notice OMG EYEBROWS!! A SPLITTER ?!? ROUND FOGS?!?
all the things these guys supposedly hate

and this is Behmers back end... pretty creative isnt it? I wonder if that dual exhaust can handle 600Hp.

Don't get me wrong... I think his car is beautiful and clean, I love the front end (especially the Lava Lighting AE's)... but the back end kills it. dare I say... the backend is... rice?
