Your opinions needed
Hi all,
I am on a tighter budget these days since I just bought my first home. I wanted to get your opinion on what mod I should do next :
1. Euro Tails
2. Exhaust
3. Cold Air Intake
The exhaust would be a stainless steel exhaust with twin oval 3".
I wanted to know if anyone had had experiences with a magnaflow and if I should go for that or something else. Remember, I am on a budget now so I can not go blow 1,000 on one. Any help would be appreciated. It's all too confusing to figure out on my own... lol

I realy like the difference that euro clears make on a car. I would go for those...but that's just me. If you go with exhaust and want a cheap but nice setup, go to Zoro muffler. They'll tell you what choices you got. Good luck.

I agree with Bliss, Zoro does some pretty good work. I however I think an exhaust would have more of an immediate impact on you. All of these choices are good however. Good Hunting!

If you do get the Exhaust make sure you know what your getting yourself into. I have the same one your talking about and it is LOUD. There is a constant droning sound in the car.It sounds very nice but for long trips the sound can really get to you. I got the exhaust for 80$ Us on ebay and got it installed for $150. It was a good deal but if you really want to get an exhaust I would get a REAL cat-back Supersprint exhaust from BCauto. SInce they are having a clearance sale on them

it depends on if you want all show and no go, or all go and no show. i always spend money on what will give me a performance gain first, then i go for looks. but thats me, its up to you. euro lights do look nice though.

Zoro is a muffler/ exhaust shop off of Dundas in Mississauga. They are very reasonable.

Hey! First of all...congrats on the new house. Personally, I would just go for the euro (red/white) tails and get a complete quality system like supersprint when I had a bit more cash. I think you'll appreciate it more in the end. It should sound much better and if you can get it together with the cold air intake....you'll get a lot more enjoyment out of it rather than just getting a muffler and tip for the sake of it. Im not trying to knock zoro here or anything because I've never seen what they have. Try and check out if Bosal Brospeed makes a system for your car. I know they make one for the 318ti and the 318is. People that have it say that they very satisfied. Its a complete stainless steel cat-back system and the sound is just right. It retails for about 450-500 US BUT i saw one on special for $150US on their website once. When I was about to order it, the special was over. But the 318is one is still on special. Try bosalperformance.com to see if they have an application for your car. Good luck!

I haven't actually seen their work on bimmers. All I know is that they are pretty cheap for aftermarket stuff.

I would go with the exaust system. PM empowered! He can get a deal on a Brullen exaust for like $850 (don't quote me on this since I can't find the old thread).

Magnoflow Muffler
Don't get the magnoflow muffler! I put that muffler on my Integra about 5 years ago and it sounds like crap! I bought it from Zoro. Get the Brullen it's better!
