curious question

I've seen a lot of interest from you guys in taking your cars out onto the track. I know that there are always lots of opportunties to take your cars out onto the track... Heck, even Teutonic is hosting our own track days...
So my question to you guys is: what's holding you back? Is it:

- You feel intimidated by other groups and/or members? You feel more comfortable running with a group of friends?
- Cost? Tear and wear issues?
- You don't know what to expect? Would instruction (in car) ease the anxiety?
- Scheduling issues? You can't commit so early? A full day is too much for you?
- Other reasons?

im basically in the same boat as rob,, moneys an issue because i dont wanna have to get a new set of tires and heaven forbid i crash or clip something.....

other than that,, i wouldnt mind,, ive raced around mosport tonns of times.. (in my civic) but money has been hard to come by lately...
