Peter 1998- Your data sounds spot on. The dyno I saw was for a care set up the same without the M50 manifold. It was 197rwhp. You don't know what kind of software that guy was running do you? I've spoken to Peter @ superchips and he says he can custom tune it for me.

JC has a specially tunned shark injector for the M3 cams and M50 manifold for use with the 2.8... Not the standard shark. However they don't sell it seperately and ony as part of THEIR cam kit...

goto www.sharked.com and look at the cam kits...

mine is 5 spd hehe.. 3.91 is damn good on track, but on highway... it is little pain.......... keep 4k rpm with 120km .... max i can go is 220km at 7500 rpm.... . i dont want to go more coz i think my valve spring cant handle more..

well i think 3.46 will work the best on 5 speed

Misinformation at its finest...

Pat--Head work yields 1-2hp with cams? No headwork can be done on an M50/S50 engine? Think again man. The M50/S50/M52/S52's we build get extensive headwork. We do heavy porting, valve reshaping, guide shaping, relief grinding, valve pocket work and 5-angle race valve job. Our 3.2L OBD-1 car puts 250 to the rear wheels on stock camshafts. Headwork does wonders if it is done correctly.

JazzM- Peter is the guy Chris and I did the M50 swap for. Chris spent a day and a half putting those OBX headers on there for him. He had to custom fabricate holes in the header for the secondary air pump system. Apparantly quite a job.

E30Stu- Sounds like quite a bit of work. Who did the CNC work for you?
