From my past experiences, it usually takes about a tank and a half for the entire trip there and back (at an average speed of 160km/h)
It might even be less, but that's how much I usually spend when I go camping in that area.

Sig is cool Spud.
Recently I've been shifting at 2000RPM and getting to 5th as fast as possible. About a bit over a quarter of a tank lasted me the week, instead of a 3/4 of a tank like usual when I shift at 3000-3500RPM. What a difference!

I guess I should stop shifting at 5000 rpm then eh?
I'm all ready to go! Tools in the back, spare tire checked and reinflated, police scanner and radar detector installed, video camera charged and ready to roll, oil changed to synthetic, filters all changed or cleaned, but alas no time to debaffle the exhaust
btw, I drove out towards ajax this morning, and there was a HUGE traffic jam of people heading up to cottages and camping. Hopefully it wont be like that tomorrow.

i've asked this b4 on another board but I never got a full answer...what exactly is debaffling the exhaust...
from what i've been told, its gutting out different parts of the system, cat, resinator.....and that if work is done by a shop it usually costs arround 120-150...
no performance gains, just meaner sounding exhaust for a cheap price right? but this isn't legal is it?

heheheh woops!
I didn't even see that
About debaffling the exhaust, you're right, they remove the baffles inside the muffler and weld it back together. It adds more exhaust sound, but I'm not exactly sure if it adds performance. Dinan's exhausts are supposedly debaffled M3 exhausts, and they claim performance gains, but maybe it's just for m3 mufflers...

Rost I think we are the only V8's at the cruise & the only 5'ers as well, I don't think I can make it on 1 tank of gas though

It's not like we're driving AC Cobra's with no roof. I'd say so.

I thought about washing the car today but then slapped myself in the head. That would be the BIGGEST waste of time.
I'm still debating on what to leave in my trunk. Everyday, I have about 150lbs of tools and parts in a large bin and a metal briefcase in the trunk. I'm wondering if I should take them out for the weight (just to keep up with a few of you) or leave them in just in case. Hmmmm...I think either way I could regret it.
I think I'll just leave the jumper cables. Bare minimum.

The sauga pack will not be stopping at 48 & 7. We will be turning left from 35 onto 48 north at some point after 11 AM. I suggest you guys park a little north of there and wait to see the snake.
