car is hesitating
Anyone have had this problem?
I start my car and I start driving and it hesitates very bad for about a good 10 seconds then the car runs fine, until I start it up again and it does the same thing? Has this happened to anyone? If so what was the problem?

maybe cause the car is to low, the cold weather freezes the cut springs and untill it worms up the car runs like shit
Do you have a check engine on, if so make sure you get it check out, it could easily be a O2 SEnsor, but its very hard to tell on the newer cars what it is untill the computer say's it

Well if this is a recent problem it just might be because of the cold weather. I'm not sure what exactly you mean, but you just have to wait for the car to warm up?!

What do you guys think it is. I thought fuel filter, ignition wires or O2 sensor. Has anyone had this problem?

Well if you just started the car and the engine's cold, don't expect it to run perfect. Your not suppose to rev the shit out of it at this point anyways. You should only worry if the car reaches normal engine temp. and there is still hesistation problems.

No, I let i run for 2-3 minutes. Then when I start driving the first 10-15 seconds it hesitates bad. After it runs smooth until I start it again and it does the same.

When you say it happens every time you start up again, is that EVERY TIME, or just every COLD start?!
Make sure at least the ENGINE TEMP is at the middle of the guage then see how she runs!

Every time cold or hot. Its only when I start driving 1st, 2nd and sometimes 3rd gear and then it runs fine until I start it again. When it hesitates in gear I push in the clutch and it revs from like 400rpm to 1200rpm up and down.

If you have the same problem. It's the mass air sensor. Does anyone have an idea of what it costs?

I had the same problem with my E36. I must have brought it into bmw about 10 times with the same problem. They finally changed the idle control valve. They ended up changing my control valve about 6 times in the 3 years i had the car for. Not sure if that's the problem in your case though.
