Bone stock 94 325iS with 225/40ZR17 (front) and 245/35/ZR17 (rear) i hit 210 km/hn on the speedo then the guv. kicked in....

does that sound about right.....

BTW..this was done on QEW @ about 2 am with a friend who was driving ahead and i had to pull over to take a piss..then he called me and said theres no cars up untill a certain cutoff.....thats the only way I'll ever go that fast again.....even with no traffic or cops I was still shiting bricks...couldn't stop thinking of what would happen if a tire blew....mind you..i must say the car was vary stable at that speed and it felt like as if i could go faster if the guv. wasn't there....BMW's are amazing!!

When I tested my car w/ my heavy 17" M3 wheels my car would barely pass 180km/h.

When I switched back to my 15" stock wheels, I hit 200+km/h@5700RPM, the car wouldn't go any faster even with my Dinan chip, must have reached it's max drag coefficient. It felt as if I had no control over the car. However, I'm not too concered. I don't think on or off the track I would ever need to hit that speed anyways. The front of the car didn't seem to be touching the ground at all, so I have no clue how accurate it was.

Beleive it or not, my truck was still pulling at 150 mph. I had 1000 rpm to go in last gear, which is alot considering I get into last gear @ 120 mph. It pulls slowly from about 140 onward, and should top out (aerodynamically limited) to about 155mph. The gearing on my truck is good to about 165mph.

I got pulled over in my buddies done up 1990 5.0 mustang..we hit 250 but the cop saw us at about 210 and pulled us over...he didn't have his radar out at the time so he gave us a ticket for doing 120km/h....that was a lucky night!

It was on the way home on the 407 pretty late at nite

I'd never do it again tho, i've grown up a little bit and the liscence is pretty important
but if your gonna hit anything over 180 you might as well top out cuz if u get caught either way your ****ed
Believe it or not I got caught doing 190kmh on the 410 and the cop let me off with 115

226km/h in 2.2l 320 wich is it's real top speed speedo was showing 230 something, M40 318i 200km/h on speedo with 4 people pretty much maxed out

btw howcome people with friggin M3 engines go only 240km/h in E30? I mean my 1.8 only puts out 85kw and guys in Z3's give me thumbs up on highway before pulling on me, hehe, maybe God has a reason I dont drive a M car
