M50E30 vs Impala SS
On the way home from Brantford today a green '94-'96 Impala SS wanted to play. Well the traffic was very light so I decided to see how bad he would serve my own ass on a silver platter. LOL!
The Impala hit the gas and started to pull about 3 car lengths so I dropped it into 4th...hhhmmmm he is not pulling anymore. Close to redline and I start to pull him in. Slap in in 5th and I start pulling! Wow! I got about 10 car lengths on him and we both shut it down (going pretty quick now).
The only thing I can think of that it could have been an Impala SS clone. Oh well. He wouldn't pass me to tell. Was fun anyways.

they ran the LT1 (350 small block) in them. 260hp, 330 ft-lbs. decent power, but they were heavy cars so not terribly fast. either way i still love those cars!

Yeah the new ones are POS. Now to make it worse they are bringing a supercharged SS version out... http://www.goissca.org/2004_impala_ss.htm. What a disgrace.

they make a big deal about nothing at GM nowadays. They just slap on a grand prix GTP engine and say its new. plus its FWD, they slap on a H2 body on a tahoe, call it something else, they slap this, slap that, tighten a few bolts, call it good. fricken H2 shares air vents w/ the aztec, aztek, w/e, thats what i have to say. hahaha
