Exclamation Urgent Question

Im having some problems with my fuel pump, and i have heard that when the fuel pump is going it makes a whictling/buzzing noise. is that true?

yes....thats true...but so do alot of other things.....
but if ur car is getting hard to start or its not revving up properly that is a good indication the fuel pump is going...

also if one day ur car just turns over and doesnt start..then yes it was ur fuel pump.....be ready to drop so coin to do that fuel pump....

Man, I had to replace mine a couple of weeks ago in the e30. The engine would turn, but wouldn't turn over till the 3rd/4th time. It actually ended up being a rusty 1 way valve going to or from the fuel pump and had the fuel pump replaced at the same time because it was on the way out.....

I think it's mainly the labour that kills you. Don't you have to rip out the rear seats?

Yes you do have to rip out the rear seats.,..... and.... there are two fuel pumps actually...

the fuel pump is 400$ holy ****! mY CAR only starts sometimes, and usually turns over a few times. charlie is positive its the fuel pump. im hoping he can find me a decent used one, or im ****ed.

Fuel Pump

I had to change my fuel pump when Sunoco poured water in my tank
It made a humming/whistling sound @ first but then never came back
