Am I dreaming or not?

Would it be difficult to do this...

If I found a E30 318 without an engine (below $1000)
transplanted my existing M42 into that E30 ($???)

picked up a low-mile M50 ($2000)
put the M50 in my E36 318 ($???)

OR

Get a DASC for the M42 now ($5000+)
(I dont think top end speed gains anything, DASC just improves acceleration. I really want to keep up at the meets so i would probably need a new diff as well)

OR

sell my car

1. Why the hell you wanna do that, just buy an E30 318 with motor.

2. this is a better idea, dunno if it worth it though.

3. prolly the best idea, but why the hell you need top speed, you car is limited to ~210, how often we got 210 on the meets?

Sell your 318 and look for a nice E36 328is (if you can afford the insurance tho!).

I don't think I can afford insurance..

Vlad, because I want to transplant my M42 from the E36 there.
I guess, I could sell the motor, but 135,000 km is not exactly "low miles"

I really don't want to sell the car though...

DASC is too expensive, too....

Man, you won't get much for a 95 M42 with 135,000kms on it............Plus, you put a bigger engine in your car and you need to beef up your suspension and such. It will cost a bit of doh!
