Question What the heck? Whuts that Noise??

Hey ok today driving back from guelph i was going 140+ on the highway and i can't seem to figure out something. All of a sudden there was a scraping/distorion noise comming from my car every time i went over a ump or ruff road. WTF?? First i thought it was my sound system then i turned that off. Noise still occured. This noise sounds like i a bottoming out and something is scraping. But i dont think i was bottoming out, then i thought i had a flat tire, but i didnt, then i thought it was my tranny but my car was runnin fine.

This is really pissin me off because ive been doing so much highway driving and i cant have a scraping noise everytime i go at high speeds, wtf is scraping???

Also i also redlined my engine to see if it was the trany or whatever but i dont think the noise has anything to do with rpms

1. if its a tire, stick a finger between tire and the fender, if there is not enought rooms it is a tire rubbing.
2. if its a subframe, well, you hear that noise all the time and it is louder when you DEcelerate.

It could be the Tires rubbing like SickFinga said.

1) the noise was comming from the fron ti believe and m tires have more clearance in the front than back, i really think it was my tires rubbing on something, but not the actualy car

2) it was only occuring at 140+ and it got louder with the wind not deceleration

Must have been the smoke machine he had to use to pick up girls which blinded him and caused him to run the guy over
