Sticky throttle

My throttle isnt smooth seems to stick about halfway through the movement of the peddle. Its an older car, thats been sitting for a while, which is the reason the throttle sticks ....

What can I do to free it up, and get it working smooth again?

Lube the peddle, throttle body, throttle lever? with what lube?

i have somewhat the same problem

i'm getting my throttle body cleaned today cause my butterfly flap is sticking (stays open) when i boot it in 1st and only 1st......i thought it was the pedal before but the pedal pushes back up all the way.....so i came to the conclusion that it has to be the butterfly flap.........get throttle body cleaner from crappy tire, it's in a white can i believe
