Is there one??? I've hit over 180km and mine never cut out. According to bmw, I should have a top speed of about 205km....so yeah 140 miles is pretty good....224 km....At 140km i'm reving about 4000rpm...and 160km is 4500rpm...It's just to give you an idea...That's the canadian one.

I'd try it but don't feel like getting a ticket for 100km plus over the speed limit I'm interested in this..so a little bump to the top...

I'm in windsor, So that speed is only attempted in Detroit where cops are busy catching serial killers, the lodge or 275 are pretty much the only nice highways you can try that on, but I hit about 200 everyday, and i allways get to my exit and have to go then it weaves and stuff, so how fast can she go ?? we'll have to find that out i guess

on the ti, it varies...sometimes it cuts in at 190km/h. Other times, 210km/h?? I guess it depends on how fast you approach the cutoff...

Every car is different.
and yes speedos lie. By law every speedo has to show incorrect speed.

for the e36's, the 4cyls are at 190, the non-M 6's are at 206, and the M3 is at 240.
