RPM guage flicks on and off????
In my e30, the RPM guage seems to work fine, till it gets warm outside and then it just falls and nothing happens.....
I took the guage panel out to make sure the connections were in solid and there wasn't and dirt or something that might obstruct the connection?
ANyone had this problem?
Thanks
Jay

I'm trying to figure out what my problem is still. I have that exact problem but all my guages go dead for a few minutes then come back on. I took my car to the dealership and they couldn't even fix the problem!!! lol

Mitch i think you have to change the whole pod. as for the RPM gauge problem, try checking the connections and the pins on the gauge pod,

Did that, everything seemed to be fine, but it's weird as soon as the sun comes out and starts shining on the car, boom, the rpm's crap out.......hmmm

i think its like 300 for a used gauge pod. you can do the work yourself. or gimme a PM and i can help you install them. the only thing is you have to re-code it to the kilometers you have originally. that im not sure of

i had this problem too, and it does feel like it does it only when its really hot outside... weird
but i had an exposed wire, so this is why my gauges always failed.
