I'm BACK from FLORIDA.....

I'll try and keep this short...

Just got back an hour ago and what's with this SNOW SHIT? Jeez, how long is winter going to hang around? I drove down in my dad's E36 325is (he's away in Germany.. HeHe) took me 22.5 hours to Miami Beach from Mississauga (slept over in Knoxville TN) including all the food/washroom/mall stops.

I was flying the whole way. Averaged close to 150km/h and had my ass saved almost a dozen times by my beloved Valentine One. As soon as you get about 2 hours south of the border (around Dayton OH) you can already wear T-shirts and the grass is green! The only time it rained was today on the drive back starting in Toledo OH. It was HOT down there.... like 28 to 31 everyday with no clouds. PERFECT WEATHER.

The people....

Try not to take too much offense to this if you're American, but man... you guys just can't DRIVE! I swear I almost wore out my Hi-Beam stalk from getting you guys out of the fast lane. I never passed so many people on the right lane in my life. The further away from Ontario.... the worse it got! There were many times when the the right lane was wide open and the two others were just rammed with domestic POS. That's all they drive down there too... I'd say about 93% of the cars south of Windsor are domestics. Florida is the home of Chrome wheels, dark tint and stock ride height... NASTY. Saw lots of Boxsters, 996's, E46's and that's about it.... 1 Diablo 6.0L, a Benz RENNTech CLK60 and a handful of F360 and F355's.

South Beach Miami is the American capital of gorgeous babes (and fags ).... I've never seen so many hot chicks together in one place (south of the border).... I'd say about 30% of them had boob jobs too (I went down with my G/F). The week I was down there was the music festival too so I got to hear Okenfold, Digweed, and Sasha spin live... also went to Liquid (Madonna's club) and Steam... they're comparable to Fluid in T.O. Also did the Disney World thing (got sun-stroke and almost passed out on the kiddie rides) We rented scooters to get around Miami. I went and visited Active Autowerkes for MaxBimmer too and got a test drive in a Stage II+ E36 M3 (have to scan the pics - didn't take my digi cam).

That's pretty much it. Lotsa relaxing at the beach and sun tanning. Happy belated B-day Bliss... looks like everyone had fun at the D&B-meet dodging Charlie's driving. For the most part, I'm glad to be back home (except for the white shit).

P.S. pics will be up soon hopefully after developing and scanning (not many).

That's it. You nailed it! Most American's can't drive for S##t!! It's even worse in the Tri-State area, NJ, NY, PA. You have old farts in the fast lane going 55mph. Welcome to my hell that I deal with...EVERYDAY!! hahahhaah well, I'm glad you had a great time! After trips like that, summer seems an enternity away. (went to cancun in Jan. I hate winter )

im an american, but i have to agree with you. and it is true the further south you go the slower people drive. i have no problems passing people on the right simply because they will never move the **** over!
