what's up with 3 degres celcius?



can anyone exlain why my "computer" in the car always make DONG sound and show 3 degrees celcius when it reachs that temperature outside?

most people say it does it cuz on some brigdes or where it is windy the roads might freeze around 3 degrees.

MP is right ,, its to warn you of potential freezing conditions,,, it should also warn you of minus 3 degrees

I know that on most BMWs you can set it to ding for all sorts of different reasons, eg when you reach a certain speed.

I think im gonna set mine to ding when i need a coffee,, or maybe when im in proximity of a good look'n gurl,,,

I was wondering why that thing always goes off at 3 Degrees. I just thought the guy who had the car before me set it up like that.
