hmmm...i think a reckon day up through 507 is in order. i've never been through there...but it's suppose to be superb.

(cough cough) (ack...blech...cough...sniffle) i think i'm coming down with a serious cold or something.

must get out of the polluted city...

what's that sound i hear? oh..just my tires running low on tread.

SpudBoy - how about updating your going list in the first post of this thread so you don't clog your own thread with who is in. i think you can edit your own post so you can add and delete names at will in the first entry of this thread. Just a thought.

and one last thing...check out road 57...it hugs the east side of Lake Scugog...also very fine road. i think it connects with 35 just south of Lindsay. it'll make for a more interesting drive back to TO instead of straight road 35 south to hwy 7.

Going List:

SpudBoy - Orgasimser (Whorganizing)
openwheel - Organizer
openwheel's girl friend - since there's shopping I'll confirm on her behalf...
Slowered318 - confirmed (even if blondes are begging)
bmwm5lover - loves it, has SARS (the 24 hour kind).
burnhard22 - probable
SOLDOMATIC 325i - Keven needs a day off.
ChrisTO - Confirmed, loves Victoria road 35.
D J Contra: Confirmed to blow serious WHP
E46_lover - maybe, yea right
1BADBMW - sounds great
Rost12 - cruise or bust!
Koncise- Worried about "unpaved surfaces"
bimmerpwr- "Schweet" - he's confirmed.
Quack- sporting a 5'er packed with friends
Tlaselva- Cruis'in the Zohhhhhhhhhh6 - confirmed 12 second car/driver.
Zimmie- Confirmed.

I'll be posting final details shortly.

All roads are confirmed to be paved. All shoulders are not .

Lunch will be at the Kirkfield Lift Lock. This was a fantastic perch for you cam/video freaks.

Bimmersnake will invade Fenlon Falls for a quick, one hour shop/look around stimulating the local economy.

To be honest, the first hour will be somewhat hoe/hum. But the roads and views just keep getting better and better as the cruise progresses. One of my fellow organizers admitted hitting 195 kph on a recent recon mission.

Road Surface Ratio = 0.00625

Cruise length = 400 km
Rough Road Ahead = 2.5 km
Sweepers = 40 km estimated
Stone Chip on the coupe so far = 0
Radar Traps observed = 0.00 (I've personally covered over 1300 km reconoitering the route and I've yet to see any radar at all).

BMW_7: I will distribute maps of various resolutions at Bimmercruise and DURING the cruise. The basic route has already been posted.

Hope to see you there!

As long as you promise we wont pull over on any of those shoulders, you can confirm me on the list.

Jon: Realistically I predict the cruise will take 6 - 7 hours to complete. Therefore average speed will be 61.53 kph

BMW_7: None of the organizers will be going more than 10 - 15 km over the limit. I plan to keep the speeds down by giving out the maps as the cruise progresses.

Koncise: It has been my experience that we will need to pull over occasionally to allow the back of the pack to catch up . However, the front 20 cars will be slowing down to a crawl and then pulling over to allow the rest of the pack to overcome red lights and stuff. We did this at last year's Autumn Cruise and I don't remember anyone complaining of stone chips or any damage at all for that matter.

Passes Koncise a kleenex... you still in?

Speeders: If you want to set a high speed personal best then organize your own cruise. I plan on setting my personal best at the track. If history repeats itself there could be up to 1.6 MILLION dollars worth of bimmers at this cruise. No one want to see a show-off.

All: The last thing I want is a member in the hospital or worse the morgue. So the cruise will be a cruise... not a race.
