Since pretty much every bmw has them, i see no point in showing them off unless they're needed.

Yea, I read that since it is lower than the headlights it illuminates the road better since the headlights reflect off the water molecules in fog... or something like that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

cops pulled me over twice for having my foglights on when there's no fog or heavy rain. It would have cost me 65 USD but they let me go.
So now I don't drive with fogs on anymore

I used to when I had all that Eurolite garbage
But now I'm using stock bulbs and amber lenses. I don't drive with the fogs on because I think it takes away from the rest of the car. With my fogs on all people can see is that my bimmer is stock! With them off, they can see my M3 bumper, etc. I'm actually trying to convert my headlight harness so I can turn my headlights off as well.
You know you have to stop driving with your fogs on when a Honda guy calls you rice for turning them on during the day.

I always drive with my fogs on, the button is pushed in and when i turn the parking lights on they come on automatically.
I think bimmers look so much better with the fogs on

I always drive with my fogs, as well. It goes good with the clear corners.
