Wink Supercharger In-Car Video Clips

I needed to kill some time before Filip (eurostyle) came over to drop off my body kit, so I went out for a spin around town to see if I could capture the lovely sound the S/C makes... in the car!
Keep in mind that my car is stock except for the blower, so all that nice sound is from under the hood; it's not exhaust

All the vids are pretty short clips, but I tried to give you all an idea of what the engine sounds like now at WOT. It's too bad that it was busy out on the streets to do anything really fun, but I'd rather play it safe.

p.s. In some of the videos, I seem to act a little bit like an a$$hole, but it was just for the video...I swear!!

Video 5

Enjoy!!

Hehe i like the videos. Sounds like I can kinda hear the supercharger when you gun it!

But they guys on b/f are kinda right. Sounds like either your clutch is slipping or when you get into the next gear it seems to slip becuase you probably just gased quicker than how fast you released the clutch or you know the reasons why for having the rpms slipping like so when shifting.

But whatever I remember you said you had an auto 3er before so you'll be a great shifter soon!

My clutch is either worn (Since I've smelled it burning a couple times since I got the car from Dave), or I'm just not letting off the gas while shifting gears (which I noticed i've been doing a lot!)

I'm going to check it out tonight, but I think the slippage is probably just my over-excited shifting (hence not letting off the gas )
It doesn't slip when driving normally at all.

Adam, congrats on the install... The gear whine from the Vortech always sounds intimidating.

One thing, I couldn't help but notice in the videos that you seem to press the clutch-in after an acceration run, then coast to a slower speed... then re-engage it. Not a good thing to do. Very bad habit (a know a few friends that do that). Am I wrong?
