holy crap maxima is fast
me and slemmer we're cruising down and saw this new orange rustic colour maxima was cutting in and out the traffic even using turning lane to pass and almost smash the on coming traffic making a left. so we cought up to him at light. first we're raving the engine slightly then the light turn green we let it go. first gear i was side by side kicking 5000 rpm or a bit more, second gear i jump a full length infront of him, third gear he made a come back and pass me a car length and i kept up at 155km/hr and i started slowing down because i saw 2 cars side by side infront about 100 yards and i have to make left turn at the light and the damn fool still at it and actually pass those 2 cars ... again from left the turning lane.
it was a good opportunity to race the road was absolutely clear and no cars .....but if i knew he was a real idiot like that i shouldn't have bother ....
maxima 265hp ..... wow ....

I hate people who pass in the turning lane or bus stop lane. I got cut off by some goof twice on my way home yesterday doing that to me, almost clipping my car! I sped up and freaked out at the LADY driving, and all she did was raise her hands all frantic looking like she was implying "I dont know what you're talking about!?!"....whatever BITCH!
Also, the day just before that, some BMW driver did this to me as well. I was in the right hand lane, and he just HAD to pass me on the right...while driving half his car on the SIDEWALK! WTF??? I started honking and revving the crap out of my engine I was soo pissed that he'd even do something so stupid! What a jerkoff! He kept pulling stunts like that in his E46 the whole way down to woodbine! He even sped past street cars almost hitting people as they tried to board!
oh yeah...maxima's are pretty quick.

Yea the new Maximas are insanely fast. They have 265 HP stock and you can also get them in a 6 speed. They are rockets of the show room floor.

i just check the spec. it's not really light car 3463 lbs with all luxurious package comes std. the performance and the price in the 30 thousand range. i used to own 95 maxima and it was incredible car .... i mean 0 to 60, cornering, and the engine can really take abuse. i let it go to get my new truck and now the truck got beaten by maxima .... lol... but i was glad that i killed him on the second gear ..... considering the truck is about 4500 lbs. i wonder if my 325i would match against maxima probably ... not ....

I own one and I would not get one of the new ones... they are too big and heavy now even for the power they make.
my maxima = 177HP to the wheels and 3000lbs.. ran a 14.2 I'll kill almost any 325 and most 330s without a problem

The previous base edition of the Maxima was the best for the buck in the auto industry. Amazing value...

wrong comparison unless the new m3 is 39000 bucks ....
that would be without the engine = 0 hp
more like
maxima luxury 265hp = 39000.00 canadian dollars
325i 184hp = 39300.00 canadian dollars
