Thats the new Subaru WRX STi...and when you have 300hp it isn't too hard to do 180's, 360's, etc...!

Very easy, if you listen carefully you can hear a high pitched squeak before he drifts the car into a 180, and that's the handbrake activated and then released when he kicks the tail out and he probably modulates the throttle while in the drift or after to get back into the direction he wants to go.

As for the quick donuts, it's totally doable on the STI or any AWD. I "believe" the STI also has the active differential so it should be easier to do donuts as you can see in the video.

The STi has a manually adjustable center differential bias, you can split the front to rear torque 50/50, or have a lot more power going to the rear wheel (to do burnouts, donuts). There is a knob thing on the center console, you there is an auto setting at one end, then it's manual from there on.

When he had it set to auto on the last run the whole car just 4 wheel drifted (understeered and oversteered at the same time)

I believe if you go to the videos section, look to the left and you'll see "2002 Videos"

Click on that link and it'll take you to the year 2002 videos.

By the way in most cases, most of the videos I've done for maX I usually capture the uncompressed format back to my camcorder. That way if one day someone knows how or wants to convert it to DVD, I can let them use my uncompressed version rather than the online version where the quality isn't as crispe.

I would like to thank everyone on this thread for the compliments!

I've only ever done 1 run with the ASC on, and it's a huge difference with it off. Then again my car doesn't really have enough power to break the tires loose much on that pavement in the parking lot (unless I turn).

Both times I slid in the video was from me power shifting into second, which isn't really the best way to shift when racing, but it sure is fun (it's hard to resist). A smooth shift would be a lot faster (and safer), my upshifts are a lot better though by comparison..
