Got a Prob with my timing chain

ok here is my prob i am rebuilding my 84 318i engine now i have the whole thing done with the rebuild shop i just need to put everything back together but here i run into the problem i am not sure if the cam gear should be at 0 or 15 degrees with the #1 piston and dead bottom any body can help me that would be great thanks.
