I and IS Suspension

is there a difference between the e30 I and IS suspension, and if so, what is it! to me IS look to be lower than i.....
Well anyways, all input appreciated....

yes, iS is slightly lower.. spring rates slightly higher.. (M3 springs are lower and stiffer still)

BUT the changes are pretty small and unless you can get 'em really cheap, you might want to go for some new aftermarket springs (H&R, Eibach)

old springs are going to be sagging somewhat

forgot to mention, sway bars between I and IS are same.. it's just the springs that are different

front sway bars on M3 are smaller (!) (19mm instead of 20mm) but mount to a different location making them stiffer.. rear are bigger (14.5 vs 12mm)
