I think if I had raced it in my 5psd with very sticky tires I could have had a chance.

Contra if you could hear the blower then it isn't stock. I had a bonneville ssei and they have identical motor except the GTP has more sprot option and a performance computer as oppose to the tame ssei. I had an intake out of aluminum and let me tell you it sounded fierce. If you can hear the blower being really loud then it is not bone stock but none the less they are quick cars just not as quick as people make them out to be in bone stock trim.

yeah thats a heavy beast, theres no way it`s going in to 13`s stock, too little power/weight ratio, but anyway those things have killer bottom end, still a good kill.

Hey guys my GTP was running 13.2's ALL DAY LONG in stock form was running 14.8's. but you know any thing can happen on the street, not dissing you but GTP arent the fastest cars but they are not the slowest. I have GTP' well into the 11's stock blower.
I even have a few GTP friends that would love to come to a meet one day and have a few runs!!!! LOL I still love those cars, lots of potential, but as I said anything can happen on the street.
Harps.
Ps. this is my brother account.
Mine is JATTDEE328, for some reason it wont log out.

Shouldn't be difficult to just step on the gas. How hard can it be. They are all automatic.

The new GTP is from gmcanada's website
3.8L "3800" Supercharged V6 (L67)
240 hp @ 5200 rpm
280 lb.-ft. @ 3600 rpm
1610 kg. (3555 lb.) GTP Sedan
even the canadian limited edition has 240HP... maybe you found a stats of a modified GTP

Straight from Car & Driver, Motor Trend, etc, it is 260hp. I went to Edmunds:
Base Number of Cylinders: 6 Base Engine Size: 3.8 liters
Base Engine Type: V6 Horsepower: 260 hp
Max Horsepower: 5200 rpm Torque: 280 ft-lbs.
Max Torque: 3600 rpm Drive Type: FWD
And it is not just USA sites and info, either. Look at this site, Auto123, which is Canadian: http://www.auto123.com/en/new/carinf...ar=2004&lng=en . 260hp there too. I would go check the GM Canada site but it seems to be down right now.
In any case, it is 260hp.
