E30 ´89 vs. ´99 996 Cabriolet Porsche
Porsche of course with it´s 320hp
I DON´T THINK SO
I beat that guy,
starting at 60mph in 4th gear with him in front I almost hit his backend while accelarating towards him,

I´m not really sure, but 13,3 1/4 in a car that weighs 1350kg with driver should be 300hp@flywheel
so about 220-230 or something around that figure I guess, it will show better when I take it to dyno day2 in Iceland
Then I will have installed the piggyback system as well

That motor puts out 286hp to the flywheel stock. Unless you have mods only will you see the 300hp mark at the flywheel and there is no way you will have that much drivetrain loses. I am thinking around 250hp or so at the wheel with a stock 3L euro

That should get you closer to the 300 mark then.

nice kill Gunny!... Don't forget that you were "drafting" the Porsche... the result would be different if you were side-by-side.

with drag being the limiting factor for the e30? or would the porsche have horsepower and a better drag co-efficient on its side?
