I couldn't get to the point that it starts to blink/flash the codes. Mine constantly flashes. They say US spec cars has it and Can spec cars should have it also.
If it works, it is kinda neat since I want to check a couple things.

yes, it works. I used to do that with my m20 before. It even still works with the conversion.

Yes, I tried this on my 91 325i, worked like a charm. 1444= NO Failure. I did not expect any problems, but it's still reassuaring to hear from the car itself that everyithing is OK

I couldn't get it to work....88' 325 It should work cuz it has a Motronic 1.1 So I don't know. How soon after the car is switched to the on position do you have to start pressing the pedal?
