MCS vs. GTI VR6
Well, I own a '02 MCS, and my brother owns an '01 GTI VR6. Me and him are both the car enthusists of the family. And we are constantly racing around together.
My question is, which car do you think would win? His car is still pretty much stock. While on mine I've done a few things, such as lowered it, put a cold air intake, and a catback exhaust system.
We were racing one time, and it was actually pretty close, we were neck and neck the whole time. Funny enough, that was only with the cold air intake, and before I had the exhaust. So what do you guys think, should I be able to beat him now?

I believe that your bro has the 24valve version on a VR, which is 205hp and 200pft crank. Those cars go good, mid 14`s bone stock. It`s a hefty car, but i hear the mini isnt excactly a lighweight superstar either...
i think you have a good chance at winning though.

Hm are you sure?
I think it's the 2002/2003's which have the 24valve which gives it the 205hp.
Anyways it'd probably be a close race. The new Golf IV's aren't that quick due to it's bulk size.
Now if we had a 1.8T Golf IV with the same mods as you, that would be an interesting race
