6 Series Euro

Hi:

Can anybody tell me where I can get info on the function of the on-board computer in my 6 Series (635CSi) 1982 model Euro? The computer keys are predominately in German (with numbers 1-0) and do not correlate with the English owners handbook that I have. The owners handbook that I have appears to be for a 1984 model. Any help would be appreciated, I can do a little Dutch but no German.

Thanks,
Dawntreader

You can try here, but im not 100% sure they will have what your're looking for. All i know is that they got a whole lot of info on diff models. They got info in the DIY part of it. Good luck!

I have a 84 e28 with the OBC which should be the same, although maybe not the same as a 82. Anyways, the keys are as follows.

1 - temp
2 - arr
3 - speed
4 - mpg
5 - rang
6 - exit
7 - timer
8 - dist
9 - code
bottom left - CE and above it - start
0 - stop
bottom right - time and above it - lock

Also, if you need help with the German, I have a basic knowledge of the language.

By the way, I envy you and your high-compression m30 and C/R gearbox.
