Did 1/4 mile drag race today. on my 96 328is

FYI

Mod: Superchips program, Muffler, Fan Deleted, 3.91 LSD Diff, UUC Flywheel+M5Clutch, 1/4 tank of 94 Gas, Carbon Hood. 16 inch stock wheel + Yokuhama A520 tires. Koni shock + coil overspring kit.. (dont know if the suspension mod matter or not)


Best try is

14.883@92.85Mph...

Second best is

14.893@92.42Mph...

thats weird, i pulled a 15.2 when i went and my car was BONE STOCK, i'm sure if i did the same mods i think i'd be able to pull better that a 14.8!?!

Were you at the Cayuga drag strip? you car being a dark colored of black, purple, or blue with clear corners?

I saw your car, and I was there with my buddy but we were racing on the circuit instead of the dragstrip, way more fun

not sure.. maybe i am not a good driver hehe

but i feel it is so hard to increase little .. i mean to increase 0.3 sec for 1/4 miles need 20-25 hp more.. so i guess..

yes i was in cayuga drag. .. the dark colored of black .. i think i am the only bimmer was there for 1/4 mile drag today hehe..

What were your 60ft times? This usually tells you some more information about how you did from the launch to 60ft.

Can you please post them?

my 60 ft time is 2.172 for the best try and 2.176 for second best

That's pretty impressive actaully.
If you can down it to 1.9seconds, that'll help your 1/4mile time as well.

nice. i went last week, i only had 2 runs, and both were just about identical 14.5 @ 96mph... .815 and .894 reaction the runs and 2.3 60 ft times...
i should get it down to low 14's on the track next week, the place was a mess since it was an event day and i had to go @ the end of the day

Hey rolledout.. what mod you got on ur car for 14.5 sec run?

how many HP on ur car at what rpm for powerband? i need some information to improve my car

oh....

my friend's RSX type S doing the best try today is 15.6sec.. pure stock.. no mods..... so wired..

nono i got a CAI and my ECU reflash im @ about 240-245 hp..
i beat up on an s2000 the other day, so i know i can get my times down more... i had to let off the throttle on both runs in 1st gear coz i was spinning (the track was garbage)..
