FS : BMW 330i ZHP Imola - 6 speed

For sale: 2004 BMW 330i Canadian 206 XXX km with the very sought after zhp package in the very rare Imola red color.

Disclamer : Okay guys and gals, go get a popcorn and a drink, this post contains a lot of details and is quite long…!

The ZHP (ZAM in Canada) package includes:
 Engine mods that equal a gain of 10HP & 8 ft/lb of torque by reprogramming the Digital Motor Electronics to allow a 6800 RPM max (up from 6500).
 Reduced steering rack ratio. 13.7:1 (which is better than the one on the M3!) versus 15.5:1.
 Imola red color available (the zhp was the only “non-M” car to receive that color specific to “M” models).
 6 speed short throw shifter (for manual transmission equipped cars)
 3.07:1 Final drive ratio w/ manual trans instead of the standard 2.91:1.
 Max Speed Limiter set to 155 mph
 New M suspension
 Firmer shocks (Jounce: front +50%, rear +20%), (Rebound: front +35%, rear -8%)
 More rigid forward bushings
 ZHP control arms are different and use a stiffer ball joint
 Lower ride height by 15 mm (.6 inches) utilizing shorter auxiliary springs
 Exterior trim elements (front & rear fascia, trunk lid spoiler)
 Special exterior trim: Anthracite (charcoal) headlight surrounds, High-Gloss
 Shadowline (black gloss) trim
 Large diameter stainless steel dual exhaust outlets with a very deep sound at low RPM
 Extra thick Alcantara steering wheel
 Choice of "Black Cube" or "Silver Cube" interior trim
 Wider Tires: 225/40ZR-18 in front and 255/35ZR-18 in the rear.
(source : http://www.bimmerfest.com/wiki/index..._Package_Codes)

The car comes equipped with almost all the options/packages beside navigation, rear sunshade and rear sensors. Also comes with an adapter a 3.5mm jack for devices such as iPhone or iPod hidden in the sunglass tray.

The car is in the very rare Imola red (///M reserved color) with the black leather (an option on the ZHP) and the black cube trim. The car is bone stock (except some look goodies such as the black kidney grill and the spacers – 10mm. all around, no rubbing) and has a 6 speed Getrag manual transmission. Paint is waxed each month and has recently been detailed (clay bar once a year). Interior is detailed at least twice a year.

Mechanically, the car drives awesome. I have owned this car for almost 3 years and I have spared no cost in ensuring to change everything that your typical high performance German sport sedan might need, which includes but are not limited to:
- complete cooling system overhaul + flush using distilled water;
- VANOS seals;
- Complete Crankcase ventilation valve including all hoses;
- valve cover gasket, oil filter gasket, throttle body boot gasket and other gaskets;
- new MAF;
- fuel filter;
- fuel pump;
- new battery;
- Xenon swapped for those of the M3 (but kept the lenses of the ZHP as they are superior);
- new headlight lenses;
- all intake hoses that are prone to develop cracks are new as of this Spring;
- Cleaned ICV, DISA and Throotle body boot;
- The tail lamp recall has been;
- New Coby Wheel rewrapped steering wheel + 3 stich ///M colors (see picture);
- also all the basic maintenance such as engine oil (BMW performance from the dealer), differential oil, brake fluid, power steering fluid, etc..

I have a full excel spreadsheet available upon request and will be providing all the receipts of the work done om the car for the past 5 years. Except for the rear tires and, which are good for at least the end of this summer/fall (5/32), the car needs nothing.

Also here is the complete option list of the car

Background of the owner: I'm a 27 years old financial sector lawyer and BMW enthusiast, selling this beautiful piece of art because I don't have the time to drive it anymore due to professional involvement. I'm not taking her for work (I bike to work) and she's kept inside during winter time. So instead of becoming a garage queen, I've decided to let her go to a better home where she could be used to a proper usage. The car has never been on a track and was adult driven.

The asking price for the car is $11 000. I will also throw in some OEM air filters, brake fluid (SL6) and OEM oil filters for that price.

If you have any questions let me know. If you want any specific photo, please don’t hesitate, but as you can see, I’m no photograph!

The best way to join me is by email [omegahal at hotmail dot com] as i'm not so often on forums.

Thanks for looking!

Man that is cool. I also bike my racing carbon bike to work. I just have to shower because I have to wear a blazer at work. I guess you bike fairly close.

Exactly, I live in south shore of Montréal and work at the Exchange Tower downtown! We have showers at my job so I leave all my suits and shirts at work! My ride is 90% on cycling roads and I even get to ride 30% on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (the F1 circuit!)! So nice to train as you go to work!!

FYI, the car will be stored in a garage untill sold. It has been fully detailled, inside and outside! 207 7XXKM on the clock and it won't move!
