I have to ask does the key go all the way in? if it doesn't you might have a chunk of key in it.

My problem is I cant lock the door from the drivers side with the key it goes past the lock point, i also cant lock it manually when the door is open. I have to do it from the passenger side.

yes i have the same problem, the key goes in all the way, and when i try turning it to lock it, it clicks but doesn't do anything, but i can unlock the door from the outside, if i try pushing the lock down to lock the door before i close it, the door just doesn't close and latch it flies back open
