Shops you have experience with (powdercoating)

So search didn't come up anything on the forums. I have a spare M42 valve cover, and upper manifold I want powder-coated.

Any shops in the GTA you'd recommend, that do this properly?

I can tell you who to stay AWAY from; Metal Coaters in Bramption, very large and busy shop, but the work they did for me was horrible. Top that with poor customer service, and it's sure a place i'll never visit again! Check out my other thread about them.

Best place with reasonable prices is a place called Fireball Coatings. Not sure where you're located but these guys are in Erin but it is well worth the drive.

Speak to Mark he is the owner.

I had a good experience at Quy's Coating in Brampton. They have done a few jobs for me and I plan to use them again.

With the M42 valve cover I highly recommend you remove the metal heat shield before powder coating. You can easily drill and rivet it back on after. Sand and grit gets trapped behind it and the heat from the bake WILL warp the plate.

Went with "wrinkle" satin black.

I had some vintage REDLINE FORKLIFTER BMX bars done there. Cheap.
