My first car was in 1973 AMC Gremlin. It was bright yellow with beige and brown interior, it had a 232 straight six with three on the floor.....
Tons of fun but embarrassingly ugly!

Damn, I forgot I even had one of those until your post. I had the Gremlin X 304 3 speed with hurst shifter, track bars, 50's on the back. It was purple with a white stripe. Sold it to a pizza delivery guy for 500.00. Probably worth money now.

Cool! I had a buddy that had a Volvo about the same vintage and he jumped the railroad crossing at Ritson Rd. N. of Oshawa, he had a brick behind the drivers seat to hold it up and when the car landed it broke in half, he landed in the back not hurt but broke his beer. (this was in 78?, that was a normal friday night drive)craz azen probably knows the road it comes out at the top of the ridges south of Port Perry.

1979 Camaro; 305 auto

The right rear wheel kept locking up because axle grease was getting into the drum brake.. Ultimately not enough power and enough style to make leisure suit larry gaff.
