I'd be interested if I can get a lambda readout on my pulls...then I could finally prove to TRM that they ****ed up my tune.

frankie, that's not going to happen. A sniffer tube inserted into the rear muffler doesn't give any remotely accurate AFR readings. For that you need a bung in your header/manifold to screw in a wideband sensor. If you have a bung, then it's an option (costs more) to rent the shop's sensor and read-out.

That you sir. Sorry but if I got out with the car on a Friday I would probly head to the Maxbimmer meet in Woodbridge.

But may have to do see about getting the gang together for a East End Sunday Meet and cruise, just for old times sake.....

It's nice to finally see you starting with something clean!

Randy- I'd more than likely be in for the dyno day.

M52 with S52 Cams + M50 manifold and a tune usually yields ~210-220whp

Well I'm running that on my OBD1 setup with a MarkD chip tune, as well as a short ram and headers. But for some reason I feel like 210-220whp would feel a little quicker than my car does. I've been meaning to get it dyno'd since it's been put together but I've just been slacking, this year I will get it on a dyno for sure and see what kind of numbers its putting down.

We should have done a pull somewhere on the E30 cruise last fall...your car should be able to walk away from my 185whp if it's making over 200whp

We really should have, Alan and I wanted to compare our M52's as well but we never did. Theoretically it should, not factoring in the weight difference of the extra passenger (and the M52, and my fat a** LOL), but I don't know whether it would or not. Like I said, I would be pleased to even see a 200 whp reading when I dyno, but for some reason my butt dyno tells me its somewhere between 190-195 whp.

If you all want to race, I will be planning a road course/ drag night on a Friday at cayuga. Sometime early June hopefully. I probably won't run the strip in my car but it's still a good time.

I'll maybe throw a thread up for that when I figure out a date.

I'd be down for trying and making it, as long as it falls on a day off, I'd live to do some laps and get some strip times
