I'm already keeping an eye on track rims and tires, something wider would be nice, also gonna need to roll those arches! Luckily it's got the larger arches as its an early model car.

Got a ssk in the car the other night, and changed the shifter boot to a new black one, and put my weighted momo shift knob in. Small change in look but like it.
Just don't plan on doing a ton of highway driving with it at that ratio, Thats what I had with my m20 last year on 225/45/15 tires it ran approx 3500rpm at 120km/h, I hated doing it to the car.

Cayuga was fun though, gearing was nice for that track.

I can't picture that combination working well with a supercharged S52... unless you're going to be running 255 slicks in the rear or something... or doing the whole thing in 4th gear...
I second that. I can't see a 4.10 being a good idea. With my M50 car, I had no problem breaking second loose, and it had 100whp less than this car.

I would stick with a 3.73 LSD. It will have more than enough power to get it out of the hole.

Looks like a solid car. Put a 12psi pulley on it and git er dun.

A hundred whp less ???

No way your old e30 was putting 200-250 whp

7psi is more then enough, safe and fast. I'm gonna enjoy it this summer and feel out the car to see what I feel needs improvement for my liking.

Thanks for the complement though, hope to see you out this summer

Bull$hit, I just talked to Colin, the guy who bought it and he never had it dyno'd and is on his 3rd motor in your old car.

To be fair though, an M50 with S50 cams, 3.5" MAF, headers and a tune can make 200whp.

I'm not disputing what can be done, I'm just calling bull$hit cause its not true that the car was dyno'd by the person who bought it from him.

E30 dyno day anyone? lol I can probably set up a group rate for one here in Hamilton, my buddys got a mustang shop here and they just got a dyno put in and he was already talking to me about strapping mine on for a couple pulls and giving me a pretty good deal, but maybe if we get more people we'll get an even better deal.

I was told it was dyno'd through the grapevine. I never said Colin told me. I don't really care personally, it felt around there, even if it wasn't, it would be close. And as for the three engines, that's all him, the engine I put together for it was solid. I don't know what he did to it.

And non vanos engines make the same peak power as vanos engines. It's just where it makes it that changes.

Yes Dyno day is in order, I want to know the actual numbers of my car, so I don't have to use grapevined numbers I have been told, cause I fight want to have to back track after making crap up. I can only go by numbers from manufacture and estimates with added things, but at least I'm being honest in dying so.

It's hard playing nice when people make stuff up and try to back track, if you don't know first hand, and that its true, be a grown up and don't say it.

It's a bit far, but look into it

I'd prefer a central location cause I might be able to round up a few in the east end who have been wanting to do some pulls
