It is obvious there is more physically wrong with the car other than the mentioned rust spots and door dent, or maybe you are just not really interested in selling your car?

I told you before you will have a hard time selling the car this way (without recent pictures) and with the way you treat potential buyers on a public forum has probably cost you the sale to anyone here, a little bit of good attitude goes a long way around here.

To you it may seem as though you *might* be wasting your time with the little bit of extra effort required to sell a car of that caliber, but you have confirmed beyond reasonable doubt to everyone here that it is a *guarantee* a trip out to look at your car is a waste of time.

Maybe you are afraid to publicly display the rust/door damage, if thats the case you could always PM someone the pics, don't bother sending them to me but maybe Boerboel would like to see them as he so kindly requested.

I'm not here to bash or be negative in any way, just trying to help you sell an M5, recognize that in its time that was the worlds fastest production sedan selling for what most of us could only dream of affording.

It's still someones dream car, sell it to them buddy!

Time to create a thread, bump it up like 15 times, but no time to take pics of the rust? Makes sense.

Some pics help sell, but I`m going to agree with the poster. When I was selling my M5, with pics, I got a lot of emails and PM`s asking for a ton of pics.

Every single person who requested a ton of pics was a time waster or lowballer, who never bothered to come look at the car in person.

Only 3 people actually came out to see it and one of them was the buyer.

Pics hide a ton of stuff, nothing beats an in person inspection!!

To the OP, put up at least the minimum amount of pics, front/rear/left/right.

Not sure anyone made an offer...but we are all low ballers??? Only in the eyes of a high roller.

I'm sure that by now you have realized no one will even make the effort to come look at let alone make a deal or buy your car, however I will refrain from my typically nasty remarks and once again wish you luck on the sale of your sub-par, +250 000km, rusted out M5 that you keep hidden for more obvious reasons than a mangled door and neglected maintenance.

Marek had what looked to be one of the cleanest/well kept examples of an E39 M5 that I have seen for sale in a while and for a VERY fair price at that, with all the issues it seems he had selling I'm sure yours will be gone in no time

$10,000 is a great price for any M5.... I'm suprised it's not sold yet...

My 2 cents - try the MT90... $16 and 30 minutes under the car (too bad it's so cold out). If the rust and damage is just one door - look for a replacement from a wrecker. These are little annoyances, but the buyer might be thinking... tranny - 2k, door 800- 1k.... blah blah blah..

Drove this M5 many times, lots of work done to it, all major problems addressed, I personally got all the parts for this car from Maranello through Mike, transmission is the only big issue with the car. Still worth 10 grand IMO.
