E9x! Last N/A BMW engines in their lineup, last and only n/a v8 m3!

I'd say e30 m3 if it wasn't so good damn slow. e36/e46 are too similar.

none of what you posted proves your point at all

from your link:
"There are several BMW models which BMW Motorsport made changes on, without them becoming M-Cars. This succession of styling (M-tech I, M-tech II) and performance cues came from BMW Motorsports; e.g. BMW 530i M packet or 325i M packet etc.
Vehicles which have been modified by BMW Motorsport, but are not full M Cars, may feature "M" badges, whilst full M Cars will have "M" badges with the model number (e.g. "M3" or "M5"). Two exceptions would be the M Roadster and M Coupe models, both Z3, Z4 and 1-series variants, which only have an "M" badge with no number displayed on the trunk. These cars are full M Cars."

Vlad,

my whole point is that a car doesn't need to just be in one series. my z3m is a Z, 3 & an M.

lol okay, in North America and not extremely limited production.

The E46 M3 GTR would have been the best M3, if only they sold more than 10 of them and didn't cost $200k+

Well my point was that an M3 is an M-series car, and yes all three links show proof of that fact.

I'll admit that BMW is not consistent with only designating it as just M-series so I will concede to SickFinga and yourself for pointing out that they will designate cars in more than one series. My apologies on that.
