Feeler: e30 m30b35 complete swap

Posting this up as a feeler, picked up a complete m30b35 e30 swap. Still undecided if I will get around to putting it in my car so I'll test the waters.

M30b35 from a e24 635csi with somewhere around 200k on the clock.
Getrag 265/5 removable bell housing transmission (best m30 trans you can get) with full shifter assembly
Headers and e34 down pipes, motor was swapped in an e30 so they fit perfect
e28 535 rad, e30 expansion tank and all cooling hoses to work in the e30
Drive shaft and guibo all ready to go in an e30 u- joints all felt smooth with no notchiness

Tested compression cold on the motor, turns over smoothly. Gauge we used was reading a bit high but all cylinders were 160 +\- 10psi so there are no issUes with the head gasket or anything. Previous owner had dRiven the car before he pulled it and said everything felt great and the motor pulled very strong. it was pulled from the car due to severe rust issues.

Any questions feel free to ask. I can probably grab some pics at some point this week

Not to hijack thread, but I had started and abandoned an m60 swap in my e30 a couple of years back.

Intense amount of custom fab work, entire brake booster relocate, endless one off fabrication involved.

I'm going with s52 instead, but would recommend an m30 instead. Period correct and gobs of torque.
Bullet proof engines.

You can't argue with the ease of an m30 swap, especially one that's been in an e30 already. All it takes is a little massaging of the firewall, extend a few wires on an m20 harness and in she goes. No wiring diagrams to go over it just plugs in and fires right up.

An M30 swapped E30 makes for an awesome GT car. The low end torque is wonderful for cruising around.

And to further my comment.. an M30 swapped vert is probably the best summer cruiser ever... just take down the thread already you know you don't want to sell it lol.

If I don't sell it all, it's being swapped into my vert.
