i saw the form to fill out online, any practical tips? i'm getting it fixed tomorrow and i'll obviously include the receipt with the claim, should i go take some pics too?

Definitely take pics. The more supporting evidence, the better. Hope it works out for you man, I've heard it can be a royal pain in the ass trying to get money back from pothole damage.

I've heard sometime last year that they're no longer paying out for damages like they used to.

Pics. I destroyed two of my azevs and when I filed, a "rep " called me asking if I had pics. When I said no I went the day after to take them and it was filled. How convenient.

Bummer dude. Good luck with the city, the roads are taking a beating this season with all the freeze-thaw cycles.

What tires do you have? I need to get at least a new pair for the rear of the M3.

Really? We have similar tires (Hankook icebear) on the E70 and are pretty unimpressed by them. I'm thinking about sticking with Dunlops, as the M3's are good, and 4D's are supposedly better.

tires23 had a cool sheet on their counter (when i was there for the 3rd time this year, ) with a whole bunch of different tread designs for winter tires. the only tires with remotely similar tread to the w310 was the dunlop wintersport 3d (apparently, also a decent tire)

i had the icebear w300's on the 325ix. they weren't the best tires, although i didn't find them terrible.

I need to do this... Two tires and now passenger front strut blown.... Pissed. On the way home today on Bayview I saw two cars going north from the Lawrence Bayview junction pulled over where I bottomed out this morning

exactly the same thing happened to me, on Dufferin where it turns into allen rd, just by downsview station. shit sucks... I filled out the city's claim form thing and attached pictures and a mechanic's letter/assessment, but have yet to hear back...
Bent a tie rod...who knows what else it mucked up. front passenger shock mount and strut insert too i'm starting to think
