That's the hope. Next items I'm saving for are remanned front calipers and the bushings for the front control arms. Should be able to DIY this at one of the high schools I supply teach at. Know the shop teachers well. Might even be able to grab a free assistant.

Nice that will be an awesome drive. Northern Ontario is amazing along the top of Superior.

And welcome to Toronto

I supply teach. The education job market is shit, thanks to the gov't and the OCT. For several years, we were graduating out 6-7000 extra graduates a year, at a time when most school boards had declining enrollment. You're getting hundreds applying for single jobs.

I've done a lot of supply work for these two auto teachers, so I've gotten to know them and their routines pretty well.

Yeah many e30's have some scary radio wiring going on. They were weird from the factory so it's common.

You can usually find diffs on fleabay for a decent price.

Everything im hoping to accomplish

Hey guys i dont post stuff here too often about my car but ive decided to share with everyone what will be happening in the world of e30's for me. I picked up a 1991 318is at the start of the summer and ill make a thread for everything ive done, but this winter i plan on pulling an s52 out of a swapped e30 and put it into mine so my friend can make room for an ls1 swap.
Heres a pic of it with my track wheels which currently dont fit because i need to make adjustments to my rear quarters

heres a pic of his car on the right with mine
