Keyless entry remote not working properly

Hi guys, I'm just here because I'm confused about this keyless entry remote I have. To sum it up, it's just not working properly. Ever since I disconnected the car battery, the key fob does not lock and unlock. Basically when I press the lock button, it locks, but will not unlock if I press the unlock button. I checked the internet on how to reprogram the key fob, but it still doesn't work. I do not know the specific model, all I know is that it says ULTRA on the key fob. Anybody have any ideal on how to fix it? I tried looking for antenna which has the button on it to reprogram, but I can't find it. This is a cheap keyless entry device that should cost around $30 bucks.

Had the same issue but worst, remote wouldn't unlock or lock only arm. I gave up since my car was stuck locked so I removed the actuators.

Not sure if you have done this but look for your valet button , usually in the drivers side foot area - will be a little black button.

Least for Viper alarms you need to turn ignition to on ( not start the car) then off then push the valet button.

This never worked for me. Honestly, best bet is to take it to an alarm shop.
