Meanwhile in America... People get paid to drive a Nissan Leaf

This is all kinds of LOL

As I understand, if you have over 5k in the State of Gerogia tax liability, this works out wonderfully for you. You will make money by starting a two year lease on a fully electric car.

Check it out, apparently this has to be done by the end of the year. YIKES

Better explanations on this page -

No one shouldn't do this deal. IT IS A FREE CAR!! So long as you have a 5k tax liability. Even if you don't get VPP pricing, numbers still work.

Say your lease ends up at $300/mth vs the $235 in the SD discussion.

$300 x 24 = $7200

Minus $5000 = $2200

Minus gas savings of at least $1500 per year for most ($3,000) = -$800

At $300/mth this car will be putting $800 back in your pocket, not taking it!

Few other things to factor such as $395 dispo fee, maybe higher insurance with a newer car.

Looking fwd to the HOV riding solo. "

LOL, so in america you make money while you drive
