Advice on 1st BMW?

Hi everyone!
Just wondering if any of you could give me some unbiased advice or direct me to where I could get some.
I'm looking at buying a pre-owned 128i from a deaerlship (not CPO as it is low KM..)
We think the price is alright but was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the lowest price you think they would go on it, and we'd likely grab the extended warranty from BMW (not aftermarket) as it seems to cover everything but wear and tear for around 2900~ (negotiable?)

We'd finance it as leasing a new one for 4 years works out to the same vs a 4 or 5 (possibly 4 yrs, have to check) year finance (and we'd get to KEEP the car as a bonus)

Here's the link:

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Only owned a honda prior to this and want something a bit more exciting!

P.S. we momentarily considered buying one in quebec as it seems they have a more loaded version of this for 2k less...but based on the skepticism from various internet forums, I'd say we'll stick to negotiating this.

What car is it and at what KM? I have been looking for a BMW too. From my research the challenge is affording the repairs and maintenance on these German cars. Brakes/calipers alone can cost triple what Hondas brakes job would be. 2-3K is not unusual.

The initial cost of the car is higher generally but is the ongoing repairs that could double the cost of ownership of a car. For that kind of money for the occasional need to be prepared for the "ultimate bill".

^you are clueless.
Unless you are driving the latest M model, 2-3K for break job is more expensive than the stealership, and I've yet to change a single caliper on BMW that isn't as old as your saabs.
