Nice. Time to camp in the back of the car with a 12 gauge.

you can always disable your keyless.

personally i rather just have insurance and not keep $$ shit in my car.

also this is likely manufacturer specific, so until i see it working on a bmw i'm sleeping well at night.

If these dicks see something valuable in there, they will smash your window in and take it. At least this way they can just open the car and shut the door when done. No damage.

If humans built it, humans will be able to bypass it. Every few years theres a scary news report about the same thing.

All of this has happened before and it will happen again.

Not freaky at all...anyone with a DCan cable and INPA/DIS knows you can play around with this stuff easily in a BMW.

You could literally drive the car with the laptop. Snap-On scanners have the same capabilities.

slim jims dont work on most cars past the early 80's.

there are other more sophisticated tools.

Call CAA and tell them you locked your keys in the car - see how long it takes with a wedge and something like a slim jim. In my 2003 Mazda it took about 3 seconds. In a 2010 Nissan, about 8 seconds.

Maybe BMWs have some prevention in the door for this but I'm not convinced most cars do.
