Finally bought a car!

I have been a lurker for quite a while, but I finally bought a car - a '94 Euro-spec e36 M3. It's only a 3l, 5-spd car, but should make for a fun DD and summer car.

I plan on using it for track days and street use.

uhh, that's the fastest e36 sold in canada (except mine ) so i wouldn't say only. I'm sure you're aware that car has the eurospec S50B30 (non TU) with individual throttle bodies and 286hp.

Post pics. what # is it?

It's not one of the original 45. This was a Japan car that was imported about a year and a half ago. I was going to import a car myself, and had been searching for a 96+ car, but I found this car already here.

It's Avus blue, with black leather, lowered on some Racing Dynamics springs over some Bilsteins and it has a Supersprint exhaust. Otherwise, it is stock.

And yes, I know the drivetrain. I only wanted something to keep my interest for a while.

These are pictures of the car when it was advertised for sale. It is incredibly clean - the rear license plate bracket is still all silver! I had to search to find a rusty piece of hardware!

The car has a few small issues, but they are all fixable, and definitely not major

The PO put the ambers on, and had sold the clear corners by the time I purchased the car. I will be putting on clear corners again, OR smoked. I will match the side markers - they are clear now.

I actually had it shipped. I figured that if I factored in the flight and the cost to drive it back, I would be pretty close in cost. So, to avoid the driving, I arranged for a transport company to bring it to Ontario.

Yeah, I finally got off my butt to post i here. I am sorted for most things to start:
- I have 3, and possibly a 4th set of K1s
- I'm ordering street tires right now
- Found a set of TCKline double adjustables (a day after I bought some Single fronts!)
- I have some caliper bushings, but I'm undecided on the brake setup

I still have a number of things to get, and I suppose I should start a thread in the build area.

Thanks. Reasonably subtle, and should be pretty fun.

I have the same brand spanking new plate bracket on my "JDM" E36. If you find a solution to make it stuck out less beyond the plate let me know. Plus the bolt holes on the plate won't line up. I was thinking to switch to the traditional North American bracket.

why can't you just remove the bracket? There looks like there's enough room for a NA plate.

i say go with clears man.

if you dont mind my asking, what did you pay to have it shipped? the quotes i got were all over 1300$ from calgary to toronto, so i just drove mine back.
