It sure is quiet especially compared to an E53 X5 4.4i from the factory. I recall the guys in Engineering at BMW NA when it first came out were receiving complaints from new owners that it was 'too' quiet...

About 10 yrs. ago, an E39 M5 would roll past my place on the weekends slowly with a wonderful Tubi exhaust.

With that being said, I still really dig the sounds of your '02 every time I saw you crossing Woodbine on John St. during the summer months. I have the biggest grin when i see it rolling past.
