PPI's at an indy shop are always more thorough and cost much less

Would it matter if the car is a CPO from BMW with another 18 months of warranty left?

If CPO from a BMW dealer, the car will go through a thorough inspection
and with 18 months of warranty left, personally I will skip a PPI but get
the repair history of the car you want to buy.

If the maintenance/repair was done by the dealership, the dealership can provide the history too.. for your peace of mind and if you want to spend the extra money for a 3rd party inspection by an indy shop.. nothing wrong with that..

Would the dealership provide this info to me or would they need the sellers approval?
