Part it out mate! Those csl parts are worth a lot on their own but on a car its VERY hard to receive a premium for them...

Definitely part out. I don't know how much the CSL stuff is worth but I'm betting that the brakes, wheels and CSL bits will fetch you 10-12 grand with the right buyers. Then it's a lot easier to sell an E46 M3 for 20k. Right now you're looking to appeal to someone who wants a car just like yours, while parting out you're just appealing to someone who wants those parts, and then an LSB M3 - way easier.

WOW that's a beautiful car.

But unless you find the right buyer you're going to have trouble selling a 2001 for $30k, parting out some of it might make more sense.

So it seems like the reverse lights don't line up on the authentic CSL trunk either eh?

Beautiful car! Key piece of information missing -- is it SMG or manual?

The money arguments for parting out seem reasonable, but damn this car is nice how it sits. GLWS either way.

for what its worth...

I know that car very good.. It used to be my friends dad's car, it was the car that drove me insane until i purchased my own LSB M3. That car was always taken care in tip top shape. The CSL trunk is indeed authentic. bought from either Germany or the US when they became available. No money was ever spared when modifying this M3.

Good luck with the sale

Very nice vehicle. Can you post more pics? The rims in the pictures are not CH's and we can hardly see that beautiful trunk.
Pre-2003.5 M3's had engine bearing issues. Was this addressed on your car?

The 2001 m3 had bearing issues not pre 2003.5. Most of them addressed by the recall. If this car has no problems after 90,000 km's I think it will be fine.
