Mercedes nerd makes the jump

Just joined this forum.
Was told it had more Cdn. users than bimmerforums and I'm one of those.
I've been a long time Mercedes hacker but secretly lusted after e30's.
No secret any more as I've picked up 3, soon to be 4 this summer.
1. '86 euro 325i cabrio, original everything, 183k, zinnoberret
2. '86 325e coupe, bodykit, chip, 320k, zinnoberret
3. '88 325ix touring, 16" Borbets, 187k, zinnoberret
4 '88 325e coupe parts car, good runner, 5 speed, .
Will post pics when able....

I've been following your thread on bf.c. Good purchase and nice fleet. Good luck with the floorboard rust.

Cheapthrills...thanks, the rust doesn't seem too bad, the 325e has some as well...the trouble will be in finding donor cars with decent floors, unless there are repair panels available...
Frankie 591...they are A's with painted centers to match the body...I'll try to upload some pics

Actually it's totally coincidence...i would have preferred the vert in burgundy with a tan interior as I've never thought black made sense in a convertible, I really like the look of that silver touring above, understated if you will and classy too....the coupe in zinnoberrot looks good with the body kit, so I'd leave it as is....I've had several silver Benz's and that's the best color in my mind but I've also had a couple of burgundy's and liked them a lot too....The ix touring, well, I had to take what was offered or go home..:-)

Great car pics David!
I especially enjoyed the Mosport shots, I work there as a flagger for race events, Calabogie too.
I'm jealous of your cars features, power windows, sport seats,, parcel cover, and the condition looks fantastic. My interior is a little beat up, liner is hanging badly, drivers seat is split, it'll take time and effort to get it in as nice a condition as yours....
